One of the expensive deserts I have ever bought in my life is gelato. That was like a year ago. I tried it twice, for two flavors, in different dates. First was the Sans Rival and the other is caramel and vanilla. Seriously, it did not amaze me for the flavor or anything that makes it unique.

Again, not a fan of chocolate and strawberry ice cream only for vanilla. These ice creams are commonly served in cones. What's your favorite ice cream cone? Mines, sugarcone. It's thick and does not melt easily.
